    Team Competitions

Bramhall Golf Club is represented in Manchester District Golf Alliance (MDGA) competitions.

This section of the website lists all the competition and updates on results throughout the year.

    Updated June 8th 2015.

The East Cheshire Scratch League match at a very windy (and wet during the later stages) Hazel Grove saw our unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign continue with a 4-2 win at the home of last year's Champions. Having now played 4 matches (2 home and 2 away), we currently boast a 100% record and sit proudly at the top of the league. Let's hope that can continue through the season so we can lift the ECSL title for the first time since 1995. Wins for Gareth Bradley, Ben Levene and Jack Withington supported by halves from Andy Bradshaw and Chaz Bradley were enough to take all the points.

Jack Chew was Bramhall GC Captain in 1952 and President in 1969. On his 50th anniversary, Council was asked whether this occasion should be marked with a gift for Jack. It was decided that he be presented with a Silver Salver. Gentle hints that he might want to return the Salver fell on stoney ground. However, Jack approach the club and suggested he donate a trophy to be played for by the Seniors. Hence we have the Jack Chew Trophy.
