Captain's Weekend 2018

- We’ve got a chipping competitionon Firday evening from 5pm to 7pm from the 1st tee to the 4th green. All welcome, Gents, Ladies and Juniors. Nearest the pin wins a captain 2Magnum of Champagne! £1 to St Ann’s Hospice charity for 3 goes

- Top 80 nett scores and ties go through to the second round Sunday (approx 10:00 - 13:00). Make sure you signup for 36 holes if playing both rounds. For those who do not make the cut, please enter on the “Sheet of Shame” (8:00 - 10:00) as you will still be able to win Day 2

- We will be running a Leaderboard on the website throughout the weekend, starting around 2pm on Saturday. The new HowDidiDo section will also show current standings as soon as scores start to come in. Please enter your card on the computer as soon as you finish so that the Live Leaderboard is as live as possible.

- The Captain’s presentation will be at 6pm on Sunday.

Tee times for Saturday are available through the link on the right-hand side of this page.


The leading groups will be heading out on the course at approximately 1pm so will be finishing at around 5.00pm.  There is always a good atmosphere on the balcony watching the players coming down the 18th, so if you can join the Captain, please come down to the club.


The presentation will take place in the clubhouse at approximately 6PM on Sunday evening.  All prize winners should attend if possible so if you think you are in with a shout, then please try and make it.

There is also a prize raffle draw which everyone can enter.


The leaderboard on this website available through the link on the right-hand side of this page will be updated regularly from approximately 1.00pm on Saturday and 3.00pm on Sunday until the close of play.


The cut to qualify for Sunday's play is the top 80 scores and ties.  The draw for Sunday's play will be made on Saturday evening and will be published on this website and on HowDidiDo.  You should receive an email with your start time. Non-qualifiers for Sunday's play are eligible to enter the 18 hole Sunday competition (Sheet of Shame) for which the entry sheet will be published on HowDidiDo.

The Captain has chosen that the competition will be played over the Championship course layout for both Saturday and Sunday which will lead to some tense scenes on the 18th as the final groups complete their rounds.



This year's competition will be played over two days and comprise of 36 holes of Medal golf.
